this may be me being stupid but how do you get people to do work, i cant get anyone to do anything so they just starve, i have roads connecting everything, is there like a specific building that lets me assign workers or are they supposed to automatically find work?
You don't have enough workers in the city, build more residential buildings. Workers automatically find work. People in the game don't die of starvation, people die due to the lack of wells or diseases. To prevent disease, you need to build clinics
You can also triple-click on any building to see what it needs or whether it is working.

pretty please release a linux version!!!!!!
The Linux version of Civ Maker will be released when the next version of the game comes out.
